honeymouse SG Probably going to be there for only a day or 2 (max) since only 2 - 3 sites each state (SA & NT) and I can do 2 site visits in one day if the sites are not too far from each other. Don't think it's so much of a holiday really.... Anyway, will be a good experience since I have never been to Darwin before.

the Bear SG ahh.. question answered.. although it would be great fun to drive around australia... mega massive ROAD TRIP!!! the only major one i did was from Melbourne to Gold Coast the stupid one was from Melbourne to Sydney and back in 23 1/2 hours

honeymouse SG I would love to be able to do that one day. I have only been to Adelaide and Canberra by car but haven't done other states yet.
av98m SG On cameras and flashes, I'm suddenly reminded of this hilarious episode of Frasier. where Marty(Frasier's dad) finds his old camera and decides to put it to good use. Its a huge old medium format camera with a gigantic flashgun. He then goes around taking pictures of people....more like assaulting them with the giant flashgun. All his victims suffer temporary blindness, shock, and nausea. The photos of his victims shown at the end credits were hilarious, all washed out by the flash with expressions of terror
